Lash Out Studio was created and inspired by founder, Gurpreet's, personal experiences and worldly travels through Europe, Canada India, New York, and beyond. Born in Scottland, Gurpreet, like many girls, developed acne. It gave her a feeling of self consciousness and made her feel insecure about herself. At the age of 17, she began on her path of professional makeup and hair styling. Wearing makeup gave her new found confidence, and she wanted others to feel the empowerment that she felt. Through her art she educates women on self worth , that beauty is not only through makeup but who they are . She would achieve this through her developed artistry. Eventually, Gurpreet brought her expertly honed skills for makeup and hair design, along with her European style, to Canada.
